A superb quality satin acrylic enamel with excellent color retention and weather resistance. Extended open time, gives excellent flow and leveling properties. It dries quickly to a hard, non-yellowing washable surface with no odour during application. Breathable. Use on primed or previously coated surfaces, such as woodwork, metal and walls. Formulated without lead.

  • Solvent Resistance: Good resistance to white spirits. Sensitive to aromatic hydro carbons and alcohols.

Surface Preparation

  • Surface to be painted must be clean and free of dirt, dust, grease, and flaking paint.
  • Remove loose material by scraping and sanding.
  • Dull glossy areas by sanding.
  • Apply two coats of 587 MOORESTYLE Satin Wood & Metal Acrylic Enamel after priming as outlined below.
  • New Wood: Spot prime all caulked nailholes and patches with 572 MOORESTYLE Alkyd Undercoat. Allow to dry, then apply a full coat of Alkyd Undercoat. Sand to a smooth surface.
  • New Plaster, Gypsum Board: Prime with 192 AQUAGRIP Acrylic Micronized Eco Primer or 570 MOORESTYLE Alkyd Multi-primer.
  • Ferrous Metal: Remove rust and loose material before priming exposed metal with 568 MOORESTYLE Rust Primer.
    Previously Painted Surfaces: Prime with 023 FRESH START Acrylic Eco Primer or 570 MOORESTYLE Alkyd Multi-primer.


  • Stir thoroughly before use.
  • Apply by brush, roller or spray.
  • Use short nap roller on smooth surfaces.
  • Thin 5% with clean water.
  • Do not apply at temperatures below 10OC.
  • Drying times are longer under cool/moist conditions.
  • Equipment Cleaning: Clean equipment in warm, soapy water after painting.
