Waterborne Ceiling Paint – Ultra Flat Finish
A premium quality full mat acrylic coating, especially formulated for ceilings. Provides a beautiful uniform mat finish, has a long open time and provides maximum diffused light. Excellent hiding, easy to apply, spatter resistant. For new or previously painted wallboard, acoustic ceiling, cured masonry,plaster and other ceiling substrates.
Available in Sizes : 1L, 3L, 10L
Colors : White and over 2000 tinted colors are available from the Moor-O-Matic color system.
Spreading Rate : 10 – 11 m2/ l
Dry Time at 20°C : 1 hour to touch, 2-4 hours to recoat
Thinning : The material is ready for use; if necessary, thin up to 5% with water
For application by : Brush, roller, spray

Performance Guide
- Weather Resistance : No recommended for exterior use
- Heat Resistance : Up to 60C
- Water Resistance : Washable. Allow 7 days after application for firm to cure
- Abrasion Resistance : Resists marring, less so in darker colors
- Solvent Resistance : Good resistance to white spirits. Sensitive to aromatic hydrocarbons and alcohols.
VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds): 258 CEILING PAINT Waterborne Ultra Flat Finish: belongs to the category A/a WB (Interior matt walls and ceilings, gloss<25@60o). This product contains max 11 g/l VOC. EU Limit: 30g/l (2010).
Surface Preparation
- Surface to be painted must be clean and free of dirt, grease, flaking paint and mildew.
- Dull glossy areas by sanding.
- Apply one or two coats of 258 CEILING PAINT after priming the surface as outlined below
- New Plaster, Gypsum Board : Prime with a full coat of 192 AQUA GRIP Eco Primer or 570 MOORESTYLE Alkyd Multi-primer
- Masonry, Concrete, Bricks : Prime with 192 AQUA GRIP Acrylic Micronized Primer or 216 REGAL First Coat Eco Primer
- Previously Painted Surfaces : If surface is sound, prime with 023 FRESH START Eco Primer. Fill nail holes and cracks and sand when dry. Spot prime patched surfaces with 023 FRESH START. If previous is old porous lime, apply and overall coat of 182 SUPER SPEC. Stabilising Primer.
Application
- Stir thoroughly before and during use.
- Apply by brush, roller or spray.
- Use a short nap roller on smooth surfaces.
- Thin as 5% with clean water, only if necessary.
- Do not apply at temperatures below 10OC.
- Drying times are longer in cool/moist conditions.
- Equipment Cleaning : Clean equipment in warm, soapy water after painting.
