WOOD PAINT
Acrylic Varnish Water Based 093 Gloss / 094 Satin
A water based high quality repellent clear wood varnish, which features deep penetration, weather resistance and a non yellowing breathable film.
Formulated with U.V. filters to screen out the ultraviolet rays of the sun. It dries quickly and retains its gloss. It contains wildewcide and algicide for prevention of mildew.
Ideal for the new or old bare wood such as doors, windows, railings, lawn furniture, pergolas and other wooden surfaces where maximum protection is required.
Spreading Rate : 12 – 15 m2/ l depending on wood porocity
Dry Time at 20°C : 30 minutes to touch, 2 – 3 hours to recoat
Thinning : Do not thin
For application by : Brush, roller, spray

Colors : Clear. Can be tinted to produce colors using Benjamin Moore Color Card.

Performance Guide

- Abrasion Resistance : Good resistance to abrasion
- Solvent Resistance : Good resistance to alcohols and common house hold chemicals. Sensitive to aromatic hydrocarbons and other strong solvents.
Surface Preparation
- Surface must be clean, dry and free of dirt, oil or grease.
- Old, flaky or poorly adhesive varnish must be sanded down.
- On new wood apply one coat 090 MOORWOOD Penetrating Wood Preservative.
- Finish with two coats 093/094 MOORWOOD Acrylic Varnish which isrecommended to be applied colored for maximum protection.
Application
- Stir thoroughly before and during use.
- Apply two coats 093 or 094 Acrylic Varnish without thinning by brush, roller or spray.
- Sand lightly between coats.
- The actual color of the varnish can vary depending on number of coats, natural color of wood, texture and grain porosity.
- Do not apply when temperature is below 10°C or against the hot sun.
- Drying times are longer in cool/moist conditions.
- Equipment Cleaning: Clean equipment in warm, soapy water.
Notice: Uneven gloss might show on film if applied when high humidity is present, which disappears in time.
